Versus and the TOC

What can I say about the Tour of California?  Plenty of good things.  Its scenic, its challenging, it has lots of great riders.

But...its being televised on Versus, a channel that is run by retarded chimps.  Yesterday they had the sound wrong.  How wrong, you ask?  They had two voice tracks going at the same time during the pre-race show.  Today, there was no picture because the helicopters were grounded due to the rain.

Seems to me that it rains in France, too.  I don't remember Phil and Paul ever telling me that "Stage 2 of the Tour de France will not be seen because the weather is bad."  Nope, these kind of things only happen in the USA and Versus is there to capture all the inaction.

And I also seem to recall the race being moved from February to May because the previous two TOCs had so much rain.  And all of those stages were televised.  Just not today's stage.  Because it was raining.  And Versus is in charge.

Its tough to get a chimp to fly in the rain.
