Dear Frites,
As some of you may know we recently have had a number of team members leave to go race for other teams. In some cases it was a financial decision as their new team will be paying all entry fees and providing their clothing, and in some cases it was simply a personal decision.
Based on the above, coupled with the lack of support received from team members at our team sponsored race, ZombieCross we have elected to not register the team this season with USAC/BRAC.
The responsibilities of running this team has just become too burdensome and quite frankly is no longer fun. This, combined with family commitments, heath issues, etc... has lead us to this decision. With this being said, FVMC is not going away, and many of us plan to ride/race in the FMVC kits this season, however we will have to race unattached and incur an additional fee on race days.
This was not a kneejerk decision and has been discussed over the past few months by the original founding members of the team. We will continue to discuss the direction/future of FMVC and are open to any comments and or questions that you may have.
