Frites En Mayo Velo Club : Bandido CX

Last week was the annual Bandido CX. It was a well attended event. The race promoter, now known simply as Chewy due to this exploits at last years events, put on an outstanding event. Under Chewy's expert guidance, Bandido CX now has all the ingredients for a successful race: A beer sponsor.

The race is more about the participants and anything. Here are several pics taken by The Official FMVC Photographer.

It was a lively crowd at the the start.

But a complete hush fell with the entrance of El Diablo Sangrado

The start was furious.... ok... not really.
Turns out, the race was something that needed to be done before we got to the beer.

Crossniacs in the Ditch of Death.

El Diablo Sangrado demonstrates the proper way to ford the Ditch of Death.
It is a multi-step process of jump in and crawl out.

The ICCC brothers were on hand to clean up any of El Diablo's handy work.

It is not uncommon for women to faint at the sighting of El Diablo Sangrado crossing a river.
It is also quite common for the border patrol and ICE to become involved.
